1 Provides overall leadership and management of the Program location.
2 Coordinates Planning and Budgeting at the location in line with the
SOS Children’s Villages strategic direction.
3 Leads monitoring and evaluation of programme activities/Quality
Assurance
4 Manages overall financial operations including budgets, authorization
and approval of expenditures.
5 Build and manage positive relations with the community and/or local
authorities, develop appropriate partnerships and networks
6 Supports and participates in the National Association’s strategies for
fundraising and resource mobilization in cash and in-kind.
7 Maintains close working relationship with the National Director and
Function Heads
8 Coordinates Human Resource Planning, Management and
development:

1. Worked at the Outstation of Child Development Unit Vacoas
2. Officer in Charge at the Mahebourg Children’s Creativity Centre
3. Worked on Projects at Regional and National Level – Organising
National Children Activities like Day of African Child and Universal
Children’s Day.
4. Organized Sensitization Campaigns on the Convention on the Rights
of the Child in Primary & Secondary schools.
5. Set up of School Child Protection Club in Schools
6. Organized Sensitization Campaigns on Drugs with the collaboration
of other stakeholders like ADSU & NGOs.
7. Worked as Ag Coordinator at National Children’s Council and had the
responsibility of two government owned shelters – Shelter La Colombe
and Shelter Oasis
