About me

I have worked with technical products in the field of IT through which I have acquired the skill of successfully conveying technical information to non-technical personnel. I have also proven to be a high-performance worker that is able to produce great performance under pressure. With both overseas and local work experiences; I have acquired sound knowledge of the latest technologies.

My jobs scope while working for the UN organization(WHO) consisted of being the backup lead for the Global Service Desk where most of the time I was the one supervising since the lead’s time was mainly caught up with meetings, duty travel and other management matters. I was the focal person to deal with incident management, liaise with inter IT Dept to make sure SLA and procedure are strictly applied and solutions are provided as effectively as possible. Documentation and analysis of recurrent incidents resulted in the creation and implementation of Service Flow Diagram to meet SLA in place and improve efficiency. Sound knowledge of legal and Contract Management was a must when dealing with clients to abide to the procedures in place. I was also handling the minor upgrades and enhancement on Siebel CRM as well as the administration of the SharePoint. Part of my role as the backup lead also included to troubleshoot high level issues (Server & Network Issues, Oracle Applications down, etc...) which couldn’t be dealt with by the first impact analysis team.

Working for Accenture Mauritius has been a very big step towards my career development and in terms of my technical skills. I joined the company and started working on a Project which dealt with gas distribution and sales across Europe. My role in the Customer Support team was incident management and resolution while ensuring no SLA was breached. I was also responsible for the daily ticket allocation to the team. It is to be noted that during my time on the project, the SLA for incident resolution rate raised from 75 % to 95 % all the 4 months that I took over the job. The tasks assigned required me to have excellent time management and to constantly work under pressure while delivering the highest level of quality and analysis and most importantly without errors as it had direct impacts on clients in terms of monetary value. From January 2012 until January 2016, a new opportunity emerged within the company where I was proposed to be the lead of the team for a Worldwide retail distribution. I was given the responsibility to ensure the smooth running of the administration and daily operations of all their stores in France. The team consisted of a group of 10 people where some of my responsibilities were the daily incident assignation to the team, the daily reporting for incident tracking, management of the leaves, Overtime, and any other issues that may arise in the team to ensure minimum services to be client through agreed SLA’s in place as well as the sole responsibility for complex incident resolutions through extensive use of SQL in the client managed application. After ensuring an excellent 4 years in a leading role, I was proposed with a new opportunity become lead of the procurement for a global leading Welding company. I was given the responsibility to ensure the smooth running of the administration and daily operations of all procurement activities and inventory management. The team consists of a group of 10 people where some of my responsibilities are the daily incident assignation to the team, the daily reporting for incident tracking, resolution of all types of procurement issues, data migration and backup. I have also been given the team lead position for the migration activities for transfer of all data from the old system to the new one.

As you may have noticed, I have demonstrated a very high performance through my 8 years at Accenture where I have ramp up the hierarchy both in knowledge and management skills while ensuring the highest results. My academic standards also clearly demonstrate my determination to achieve goals and objectives. I have gained international experience and global outlook while undergoing my studies, B.IT (Hons) in Information Technology Management and an MBA majoring in Multimedia Marketing, from Multimedia University, Malaysia. With all my technical IT skills come also my management skills where I have had sound knowledge of Finance, Accounting, Industrial law and Human Resource Management and supply chain both retail and warehouse distribution therefore making me a prospective candidate with many attributes in various fields who can provide jobs flexibility like not many.

Since January 2019, I joined Orange Business Services (OBS) where I was selected for the post of Operations Manager. My team consists of 20 members and 2 SME where our core business is the setting up of mainly Network Infrastructure, upgrade of existing ones or providing continuous support to Multinational companies which are based in France. My duties consist of handing the team daily operations from end to end including budgeting, proposals for new business, people management as well as contract negotiation. I am also heavily involved with the Centre initiatives in place in terms of upskilling where I am one of the Agile Coach, a Security Compliant SPOC and I am also very involve in team building activities and CSR.
