About me

After completing my BCom in Marketing and Business Management at University of Oxford Brooks, South-Africa, I joined an Advertising company in Mauritius where I wanted to gain knowledge of the Advertising field which would allow me to better manage the distribution sector. My field of expertise lies in Sales and Marketing, Business Management, and my professional experience lies in Distribution of products and People Management. During my years of experience, I acquired specific knowledge in Frozen Foods, Dairy Products, Consumer (Dry) Goods, Production of Poultry, and Packaging (Add Value Products).

After nearly 13 years fruitfully spent in the food distribution business, I have been fortunate enough to acquire extensive experience, develop excellent working relationships with local retailers over the island and even in Rodrigues and to gain in-depth market knowledge about the Mauritian consumer habits and behaviour. Having my personal development and professional emancipation at hear I feel the need to put gear up my skills and raise myself to international standards, after having proved myself locally. So, I Joined, the company ALI BIN ALI Est., Doha, Qatar. I was appointed as the Senior Sales & Marketing Manager. Overseeing brands like Heinz, Barilla, Mc Vities, Farley’s and others.

Rich of this international experience, I came back to Mauritius in 2015 and joined Soap & Allied Industries Ltd where I was the Head of Sales & Marketing manager for more than 2 years. During this time at the company I was able to show my ability to lead a team towards success by driving the launch and implementation of several key new products for the company. Thirsty for new challenges, I joined Domino’s Pizza Mauritius in 2018 as Business Manager, to help build the franchise from scratch in the Mauritian and African market. I am at the head of the Mauritian team, overlooking several running restaurants while also managing the opening of key other locations in Africa.
