• Lead an audit of the existing services contracts management process which resulted to the implementation of a new process and establishment of a new contract management shell.
• Implemented an effective system of controls to manage the contracts in the post-award phase, from signature to close-out; ensure the provided services and invoices respect contractual terms. Measure and/or strengthen the internal controls relative to contract management.
• Monitor the adherence of stakeholders to the contract management procedures.
• Define and propose improvements to the contract management procedures.
• Ensure strategic sourcing requirements and category strategies are delivered at the lowest sustainable total cost.
• Identify, develop and lead purchasing opportunities. Negotiate contracts and execute defined strategies.
• Implement SRM framework across defined number of critical category suppliers with innovative value initiative in place.
• Lead a team of three Category Analysts
• Minimize the company's exposure to contractor claims and disputes by ensuring that contracts are well prepared and administered.
• Maintain continuous liaison with the end user departments to ensure services are secured through acceptable and laid down contracting policies and procedures in timely manner.
• Lead a team of Contracts Specialists.
• Provide leadership, training and guidance to the Contracts Administrators and maintain good working relationships with contractors, consultants and the Owner’s site personnel.
• Develop high skill level Contracts Administrator through job assignments, training and one-on-one instructions.
• Sourcing and pre-qualifying suppliers, ensuring competitive tendering of all contracts, review tenders, conduct pre-award meetings and recommend suppliers.
• Negotiations and preparation of contract documents with subsequent administration, claim settlement and close-outs.
• Ensure that obligations to contractors are met in accordance with contractual agreements
• Managing relationships with contractors in accordance with organizational policies and procedures
• Assessment of the potential risk of the premises to secure and proposition of adapted security solution and issuing costing to Client,
• Preparation of proposal to all received RFP and follow up of the response to the tender.

More than 10 years’ experience in mining industry with particular related experience in Category Management, Strategic Souricng and Contracts Management. Strong analytical, negotiation and influencing skills and a sound knowledge of the suite of Microsoft products in particular Excel specialized skills. Ability to work with varying seniority levels, including staff, managers and external partners
