I am a web developer, editor, graphic designer and a researcher. I have used the web developed language and framework skills in developing various websites including chanzocapital.com, mafkonbuilders.com, eventoui.com and a couple of locally hosted others. I also have applied my Photoshop and Illustrator skills in branding a leading construction company in Tanzania, designing logo, brochure, business cards, staff IDs and festival cards, among other projects. In addition to Powerpoint and Excel, I have been equipped with data and decision skills which are critical in collecting, analyzing, as well as delivering vital insights and representation from the data. I have developed excellent communication and negotiation skills during my previous two internships with a multinational bank and leading fast moving consumer goods company, both in Tanzania. As a treasury sales intern in the bank, I interacted and negotiated with several customers daily in Foreign exchange trading. Also, as a part of marketing research team at the FMCG company, I collected data from about 30 outlets a day, and bridged the outlet owners with the company and this was invaluable in bringing about communication skills. Moreover, I am grateful for the opportunity provided by my college, to nurture my project management and organization skills. Through the college, I have been part of different teams, working on a set of disparate real-world projects with partner companies to deliver practical results. I have worked to deliver a marketing strategy in Africa for a world leading Cosmetics Company, a digitizing strategy for an agricultural project and an expansion strategy for a leading finance company in Mauritius. In addition to this learning journey, I am passionate about agriculture. My deep interest in agriculture brought me to lead and implement a one-acre watermelons project, involving production and selling, in between September and December, 2017. The experience added immense value in my leadership and entrepreneurial experience.
